Central Park:
Located in the center of Manhattan, Central Park is spread at 840 acres and is home to Belvedere Castle, the Central Park Zoo. There are various other attractions here. Visitors can relax in the green lawn or can even take a walk along the pathway in the park. Rockefeller Center:
It is a complex of 19 buildings built by the Rockefeller family, spread across an area of 22 acres. It offers a behind-the-scenes look at some of New York City’s greatest treasures. These buildings has many major corporations including General Electric and is home to the NBC studios.
Grand Central Terminal:
Grand Central Terminal is a rail terminal & has is known to be the “world’s loveliest station”. It is one of the top tourist attractions in New York City. Grand central is known for its amazing architecture which has an impressive clock made of pearly opal glass. The lower level of the terminal has a dining concourse and train tracks & it offer diverse dining options including the Oyster Bar.
National September 11 Memorial:
The National September 11 Memorial has been constructed in the memory of those who were killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The names of those who died are engraved in two bronze panels nearby Memorial pools. The pools are each nearly an acre in size and mark the footprints of the Twin Towers that once stood on that site. The National September 11 Memorial Museum serves to educate the public on the implications of the attacks through multimedia displays, archives, narratives and a collection of artifacts.
